I would like it if ‘blocked’ meant others couldn’t see our posts and or profiles here. Press ‘share’ if you agree, it might make a difference.
Cool tip 🙂

Google+ Tip: In your profile, edit your employment to show your interests as a quick way for people to sort you out into relevant circles.
For your Employer Name type in a list of suggestions for content you’re interested in. That way, when people hover over your name and your info card pops up, it’s easy to sort you into any relevant circles they have that overlap with your interests.

Just learned about a really cool way to do Polls on Google+:
1. Ask a question.
2. Quickly add the possible answers as the first comments.
3. People hit +1 on the comment they vote for.
Here goes: iPhone or Android?
Not sure who invented this, but I learned via Natalie Villalobos , who shared it from Ahmed Zeeshan , although I think Matt Cutts was the first person I saw do it. If you know the inventor, please let me know so I can credit!!).
How to Beat a Troll in Hangout:
Pretty simple… click on the offending user’s name to load his/her profile…leave the hangout, and (if you like) as the others to follow suit), block the offender from their profile. Then start a new hangout… and invite the folks back in from the other one (if needed). Troll won’t be able to come back in UNLESS you post it Public or someone re-shares the hangout link.

Liza Sperling was trolled in chat by carinder Malhi. The conversation went down a little like this:
Carinder: lizz u are fucking hot
Liza: leave
Carinder: why
Liza: this is not chat roulette
Carinder: i know it fucking not it fucking hangout
Carinder: make me bitch
David Schlesinger and Colin Lovett both felt the need to post about this unfortunate exchange. Colin said that the guys should stand up for women who came under attack like this…
I really appreciate his sentiments but, no – I don’t need you to defend me. I know very few girls who need a guy to defend them. Maybe out in the real world, but this is online, we’re on even ground here.
This is how things usually transpire in my online conversations.
I’ve been having ’em since 1990, so maybe I’m just desensitized…
Stranger: Sarah u are fucking hot
Sarah: Tell me something I don’t fucking know.
Stranger:…. u are really hot.
Sarah: Why are you typing ‘u’ and yet typing ‘are’ in full instead of using ‘r’?
Stranger: ….
Male Friend One: Yes, don’t you dare talk about Sarah like that!
Sarah: You know you think I’m hot too, you’re just too much of a pussy to say it.
Male Friend One: ….
Sarah: Right, we were talking about the economic impact of interoperability. What are your thoughts on this, Stranger?
Stranger:,.,,
You Have A Troll. Deal With It. Or if you can’t deal with it:
a) Drop out of the hangout.
b) Block the offender
c) Start a new hangout… they won’t be able to join.
Trolling and hitting on chicks has been happening online since online was invented.
You’re never going to stop it. Devise your own coping strategies.
And yes, I’ve added guys on G+ just because they looked hot in their profile picture. I’m going to jump into the first hangout I see ’em host and I’m not going to be backwards in coming forwards. Sue me. 🙂
Sesame Chicken – it’s what’s for dinner…tomorrow.

Late lunch: Broccoli, kidney beans, red onion in a salad with splash of balsamic vinegar, a dash of cumin, some Parmesan cheese, and a couple grinds of black pepper. No cooking for me! #BJsFoodPorn
Hmm…deciding between this and Circlestar (http://goo.gl/kbsbQ)

Even the ones that seem “right” are still somehow “off”.
PS – I’m sick of Papyrus and Edwardian Script. Call me a font snob, if you will. I own it.
