On Google Plus and Viral Power

This is not Facebook. This is not Twitter. If you want to share information or content with the users who have circled YOU:

A Share is completely visible.

A Plus One is almost invisible, in practice.

A Comment is completely invisible for all practical purposes.

If there is a view point or message that you wish to support, SHARE POSTS Attribute the content originator with the “+” syntax. Direct your Plussers to comment on the original for the sake of centrality of message.

If you really want to direct traffic, click on the Date & Time ( in grey, at the top of the post, directly to the right of the original poster’s name ). Copy the URL in your browser address bar. This is a Forever URL to the post. If it is Public, all of the Internet will be able to see it. Any Google Plus user will be able to interact with it. You can post this anywhere. Facebook. Twitter. Blog. Anywhere.

If you are hazy on some of the details of how to + other users or the nature of Circles or following, let me know here, and I’ll share my Google Plus beginner’s guide with you. It outlines some of the less obvious features & what you can do with the service.
