I’m going to celebrate crossing the 3K followers by selecting one of my followers and featuring them in a blog post. Below are the steps that need to be completed to be included:
1. Respond to this post with details about your and your business and how you use social media to grow your business.
2. Ask your friends to +1 it as a way of voting for you.
3. Then use the email feature on my profile to email me your bio. Make sure to make the subject line: “Feature Me”.
This will end on Friday, September 23rd at noon. I will then announce the featured G+er on Monday, September 26th. The top five people with +1s will be listed in the blog post along with the featured person. Did I mention that I plan on writing the blog post as part of my http://Technorati.com series about G+? 🙂
What about you? How do you manage your circles? Got any tips for the n00bs (and people like me who have kind of a mess going on, in ours)?
PS – I think I broked mine 🙁 I can’t move anyone from one, to another, now.

Circles revisited
In the beginning of g+ I started of by adding all the suggestions of Google and following people back, to get my stream started. I’ve put all those people in a Bulk circle, and distributed them to a variety circles from there, and finally finished with sorting through them just now, lol.
Now after using the system for … (how long?) I’ve discovered that most of those circles I don’t use most of the time anyway because I spend most of the time in the mainstream.
That’s why I put all the people I’m following now into a “Following” circle to keep them in my circles.
Apart from that I only have 4 circles which I check from time to time.
1) A Googler circle to make sure I don’t miss any update 😉
2) A Photographer circle to look at some nice photos.
3) A circle of Austrians to check if anything interesting is happening around me.
4) An albeit small circle of Real-Life Friends (spread all across the world)
And then I have some small special sharing circles which I use for private posts from time to time, but I’m posting mostly to public.
How has your usage of Circles changed over time?
Good morning, G+angstas…
It’s FRIDAY, and the start of fall, and for some reason, this song is one of my favorite tunes in the fall.
Enjoy
