It used to be that a weblog as defined by <strong>Blogger<\/strong>: \u201cA web page made up of usually short, frequently updated posts that are arranged chronologically \u2014 like a what\u2019s new page or a journal. The content and purposes of blogs varies greatly \u2014 from links and commentary about other web sites, to news about a company\/person\/idea, to diaries, photos, poetry, mini-essays, project updates, even fiction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlogs posts are like instant messages to the web. Many blogs are personal, \u2018what\u2019s on my mind\u2019 type musings. Others are collaborative efforts based on a specific topic or area of mutual interest. Some blogs are for play. Some are for work. Some are both.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Derek Powecek<\/strong> and <strong>others<\/strong> attempted to explain a a weblog, back in 2000, when the craze was at it\u2019s peak, and it was the thing to do. Now it seems blogs are all over. If you are ten and have a crush on NSYNC and can type, you can have a weblog.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam Mathes<\/strong> defines the properties of a weblog\u2026<strong>in his own special way<\/strong>, of course\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Then there are the blogs which only feature group blogs.
