Tonight as I walk home from my sister\u2019s place I am sort of spooked (she lives less than two blocks away,and my building shares the same alley that her & her hubby\u2019s rented duplex is on). I moved from the East Side of St. Paul to South St. Paul and even though my new neighborhood is at LEAST a hundred years old and it is DEFINITELY safer than my old one (TRUST me, I used live in the Ghet-TOHH), I\u2019m very aware of myself, so solitary and yet feeling so strange as I\u2019m walking up the sidewalk leading back to my apartment, just trying not to walk through too many of the leaves that had been blown everywhere and are now lying all over the place. I must\u2019ve subconsiously did that in order to not attract too much attention\u2026<\/p>\n
Maybe I was just a little paranoid and I guess maybe because it was close to ten and maybe also because the street I live on could do with a bit more lighting, or maybe because when I rounded the corner, a cat leaped from out of nowhere and ran off in a hurry, which startled me a tad. Plus I felt like every car that drove by was occupied by a freak at the wheel which was not hard to imagine, since almost every car\u2019s headlights nearly blind you during your journey and you hope the driving stranger isn\u2019t some \u2018Buffalo Bill\u2019-type serial killer\u2026jeez, It just gives me that feeling of being afraid I\u2019d get caught dead in my tracks by those car headlights, like a damned deer in the woods, haha.<\/p>\n
Soooo glad it\u2019s gonna be Friday tomorrow, and I\u2019ll not waste a minute being loudly joyous about it, so whoever decides that my bitching about it not being Friday yet makes me a big \u2018ol dork; they can bite me, \u2019cause I just don\u2019t give a rip\u2026I just demand my weekend. The kind of week it\u2019s been so far, I\u2019m determined that if tomorrow was Tuesday, I was gonna call in sick or dead or something\u2026it sometimes just gets to be too much. Gosh darnit, it\u2019s WAAAYY past my bedtime\u2026gotta run.<\/p>\n
