<\/strong>LOS ANGELES (AP) – \u201cAlly McBeal\u201d star Calista Flockhart recovered this week from fainting on the set of the hit television show. A publicist for the actress said Flockhart\u2019s ultra-thin physique had nothing to do with her collapse [I beg to differ\u2026how do we know that? -b] \u201cIt was dehydration and exhaustion – one thing had nothing to do with the other,\u201d Melissa Kates said. Flockhart was treated at a hospital for about six hours Wednesday, then spent Thursday recuperating at home, Kates said. Brooks hooks \u2018em
<\/strong>SEATTLE (AP) – Country music star Garth Brooks is being sued for allegedly limiting wheelchair seating at a concert so \u201cpretty women\u201d could sit in the first two rows. Brooks\u2019 attorney denied the allegation, saying people in the front rows are generally Brooks\u2019 friends. A judge ruled Friday that the complaint can proceed to trial, but said Brooks\u2019 liability is limited because he had no control over concert operations at Seattle\u2019s Key Arena. Joanne Lawrence alleges that Brooks and his promoters violated the federal Americans with Disabilities Act and state civil rights laws at several 1998 concerts. She claims Brooks\u2019 promoter directed that no wheelchair seating be allowed on the arena floor. Lawrence, 54, filed a similar lawsuit against the Tacoma Dome and Ticketmaster after a 1993 Brooks show and agreed to an out-of-court settlement. She is head of the group Disabled Americans Have Rights, Too. [yes, they DO. -b]<\/p>\n
