Seems that,\u00a0for a long time,\u00a0my life has\u00a0been a cycle of being in and out, of a complete, chaotic, mess.\u00a0 Money\u2019s been too tight (and since November, practically non-existent), and I\u2019m stressing out because I either have too much to do or not enough to do.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s my own damned fault, I suppose.\u00a0 I could be getting more work.\u00a0 Or more money, somehow.\u00a0 A little back-story\u2026for those\u00a0who don\u2019t already know\u2026 I run my own business from home, which can be scary sometimes if you don\u2019t plan things well.<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s hard to be out and about trying to get contracts and meet people all day long and then go home and work for 12 hours more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I suppose I could get a part time job, but then when would I sleep?\u00a0 I\u2019m the only person working here, so it\u2019s not like I could just delegate some tasks to a staff member!<\/p>\n
If I\u00a0continue this cycle of neglecting my own self-care, rest, and health, and spending 12-16 hours working every day, soon I will be dead.\u00a0 When I\u2019m working, I neglect myself.\u00a0 My hair won\u2019t get washed every day, I won\u2019t take care to eat the right things, and I smoke too much.\u00a0 I love my job\u2026but it\u2019s ruining my health.\u00a0<\/p>\n
So I\u2019m trying some new things\u2026like not working one day a week and just spending that day doing meetings or marketing\/making calls.\u00a0 Then I will spend the rest of that day not doing a damned thing but having \u201cme\u201d time.<\/p>\n
I will give it the ol\u2019 college try and post how it goes.<\/p>\n
