You know what I meant. So I’m a little backwards. Deal. Just a little update on the home front…

After my last post about my living situation, I was able to get my mom to help…after much yelling and swearing from her end, about how I’m “a grownup and this is not my problem, […]

Baseball League Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett has died at 45.
I remember fondly as a young teenager when the Twins first got Kirby on the team. He made it exciting to watch, with his wall-scaling in the outfield to stop a home run from the other team. Although he was serious about the […]

Last night I figured out why my tummy hurt so much. This occurred to me after I emerged–oddly triumphant–from the bathroom, the herbalife-wannabe diet supplement stuff I’ve been taking has had a constipating effect on me. More than anyone needed to know, I’m sure.
I just got over a nasty cold and although James has boosted […]

You are Bender. (Judd Nelson) You’re the rebel of the group who likes to make fun of everyone else. Which Breakfast Club Character are you? brought to you by Quizilla

OH–and um–if you are younger than 24 you have NO BUSINESS liking, enjoying, talking about or posting about ‘The Breakfast Club’, ‘Less Than Zero’, ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ or […]

That’s helpful in the money department. For anyone who’s wondering if I’ve dumped James and run off to live elsewhere, well I thought about if for a few days, talked to friends about it and honestly here is the situation:

I have no money to be able to just up and leave, I can’t afford to make […]

Another night with the Idiot Box…
Tonight after a while I got up from doing some work and decided to take a break and put in some couch/boob toob time. I totally had the munchies, so I went looking for the potato chips I bought the other day. Imagine my dismay to find a rolled […]

After all that has been going on: I still haven’t found a permanent job (even though I am determined not to work full time for long and eventually have my home business be my income) but I need one to stablize my income and save to build capital.

I am drifting farther from my mother, who seems […]

I know this is sooo late of me…. but I couldn’t resist chiming in on it.
“Fed up with being endlessly told ‘the American people’ have turned against the war in Iraq, Republicans asked the Democrats to show what they had in their hand and vote on a resolution to withdraw the troops. By a vote […]

Tonight I joined a group of my fellow Jaycee’s club members, for an evening of Christmas cookie-baking and drinks at the home of another member. I didn’t have any dinner before I went and of course I got a bit tipsy after having downed a Tom & Jerry and at least 2 mugs of hot […]

Ooh, ooh! I also forgot to tell you–Uffish Thoughts is where I found a link to Mr. T doing his neato butter booby trick. Yay! What a treasure…and I thought I’d seen every bit of his work!
If you idolize Mr. T like I do, then you ought to get yourself acquainted with […]

You can count on the excitement being just as feverish as last year. The eXile has been presenting “Golden Hairy Ass” awards to the best, the worst, and the hairiest of things-Russian. The awards came to be as a result of the eXile staff having hairy asses, and some silly soul noted that. […]

Why Do Porn Actors Have To Use Such Foul Language?
Maggie Lehman, a fine source of editorial commentary over at The Onion, once again proves herself correct. She points out “Like many people, I enjoy pornographic movies.” but she’s got an issue with bad language. “Thankfully, my husband Marv fast-forwards through the plot so […]

Friends, I’ve long wanted to be able to provide useful advice to the young people today, with regards to their ever-fruitful social lives, to help guide them along whatever paths in life they choose. I’ve got some solutions for most red-blooded men and women. If you posess at least half a brain, […]

This term for one who is punished for the misdeeds of others is the result of a mistranslation. The term was coined in 1530 by William Tyndale, who misread the Hebrew word azazel, a wild demon from the desert in the Old Testament to whom the scapegoat was driven forth. It is also mentioned as […]

This is the dawning of the age of the “Am I [insert anything here] or not?” web site
And I’ll be damned if I am going to let it pass us all by, without commenting on it. I think it’s a crying shame that some of the sites below (the ones that are LAME) went out […]

Now I’ve seen everything.I thought foot fetishes were a strange thing. There are actually people who fantasize about being crushed, eaten alive, and being at the mercy of a giant person. Let’s not forget about those who are into balloons and having food thrown or spilled on them. Very strange. I could go on all […]

Why the XFL sucks
Jesse “the Body” or Jesse “the Governor”?Speaking of vile things, I have found Minnesota Public Radio’s The Body’s Politics: The Ventura Collection a very useful and even humorous tool in my ever-so recent attempt at getting to the core of our Governor. I still haven’t really figured him out yet. Maybe you […]

Boy, being on The Food Shelf Diet is Mmm-mmm good! Mushy mac & cheese. Tonight I learned you should never overcook macaroni noodles. What a way to top off a non-eventful, ho-hum weekend. I’m sitting here searching the web for PT work for the millionth time. I need to make more money […]

…and getting caught in dusty apartments with rock bands
Last night I had a very strange dream. I was sitting in a cramped, slightly run down second floor apartment somewhere and was having a conversation with Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas. Weird. turns out it was his place. Who knows when THIS was, I’m sure, […]

Yes, I know it’s been forever since I’ve updated. Don’t even get me started. Let’s just say that I’ve been busy doing lots of nothing.

Kiss My Sass » Blog Archive » Everyone needs an Alice

I ♥ Alice!

I have been ordering my household goods like coffee, toilet paper, feminine schtuff, shampoo, cleaning supplies and medicine cabinet crap from them for a couple months, now.

Shipping is free, takes about 2 days and comes in a very clean, well-packed box.

Most of the stuff I buy from the site costs less or about the same as Target, plus I don’t have to travel to the store, spend all kinds of time shopping, and then sitting in line!

I stole this banner from their web site so that you can click on it to check it out. When you sign up, you get $10 off your first order of $50 or more.

I can’t help but say good things about Alice.com because they have saved me a TON of time and it’s just plain fun to shop there. And you know how much I fucking HATE to go shopping!

It’s been almost a month since I posted anything.  I KNOW!  So stop with the nagging, already! I’m very busy and important.  And possibly dying. Because, you know… I’ve spent about 30 hours/day the last couple of weeks trying to get a newsletter published.  It’s kind of a big deal. That, plus I’m PMS-ing.

Then there’s these 2 web sites […]

People always ask me where I got the nickname ‘BJ’.
Well, first off, my folks wanted a million kids, their firstborn–they wanted badly–to be a son. My dad, who was an orphan, was named ‘William’ before he got adopted by a foster family. I don’t know why they renamed him but he wound up being called […]
