You’ve all heard of the Placebo effect. If you take something with no know therapeutic value, but you believe will help you, you generally feel better. But this video points out some interesting facts that I was unaware of, such as the strength of the placebo effect and how it varies depending on presentation (larger and shiner are always the best option), and also the fact that you can become dependent on placebos.
