It’s been 1 month and 1 day since I started using Google+… In light of that…. Some notes…
1) I circle LOTS of people I dont know… I find you because you have a nice comment on a post i’ve seen..Perhaps you were a recommended “friend of a friend” or in some other similar manner as this… I suggest you give this a try too 🙂 Think more twitter/myspace and less facebook in this regard… It makes google+ much more interesting then just your 5 real life friends who are not posting much.
2) I do a lot of public posts. I like Comments and Pluses and Reshares… Its easier to have a convo here than on twitter.. but the ideas are the same 🙂 I post public because I might find a cool person who I havent circled back yet… because they are able to comment on my public posts. (public = twitter)
3) Hangouts are a lot of fun. I know.. I know.. the idea of video chat with random people can seems odd… but its a TON of fun to hangout with people from all over the world. Previous hangouts i’ve hosted include pictionary, charades, and “what does McDonalds have in your part of the world”… There is also some great serious conversation and business networking too.. If you are still not sure about it…+mention me and we can try it out sometime.
