When Sergey Brin and Vic Gundotra asked Chee Chew (heading of Google engineering in Seattle) a few months ago how long it would take to integrate video chat into Google+, he said “it would take only a few minutes and proceeded to set it up immediately.” He had already been working on video chat in Google Talk. If this is true, imagine what will happen as Google execs ask other Google engineers to integrate other Google products into Google+ as well! I can’t wait for Google News and Google Reader and Google Books and Google Scholar and Google Alerts, for example, to be integrated into Google+ where the fairly weak Sparks exists today.
