Crap. I’m sure they’d love to hear that. Dateline had me glued to the couch and then even the blasted local news. Heaven help me, I have no time tonight to be sittin’ in front of the toob.

Um yeah. Sunday was Earth Day. Happy belated Earth Day. Didn’t go out with much of a bang at […]

All your dumb snapshots are belong to us.
Did you notice that nearly everytime the news media have captured George W. Bush’s image–ever since the presidential campaigns–that he looks absurd? OMIGOD, I just asked the stupidest question, didn’t I? That bastard was born absurd. My new hobby is collecting these such images and post a new […]

Been working alot, 12 hour days sometimes. You’ll get over it…
The other day I was taking the Minneapolis bus home from work and this scruffy lookin’ (for lack of a better description) guy was sitting next to me, listening to his walkman, as was I. I couldn’t help but notice that he was really […]

Well everyone, it’s 01/01/01. Bet you never thought it would be that cool to write a date, but it is. I’m easily entertained, can you tell?
Well, last night I went to my mom’s house. This year was the first time in a long time that I didn’t go to an actual party. Me, my […]

Some bad news. My grandmother is in hospice as of Monday. She probably will not last to the end of the week, battling lung cancer and other complications. Since I may have to go to Duluth and very soon (this weekend, maybe), It’ll be okay. It’s been months since everyone has known about her […]

So far, tonite…
I’ve got my bags packed and I’m ready to leave town tomorrow night after work, out further west to St. Cloud to take some time off work and help out at a conference that I’ve been invited to do some work at. A client that I do a website for has asked […]

Kiss My Sass » Blog Archive » The weather lady is retarded

Here’s what she says,

“Happy Saturday! It looks like this will be the one day that the threat of any storms or even a cloud will be not an issue. Expect temperatures to heat from the upper 60s this morning to the upper 80s by this afternoon with dewpoint remaining in the 50s and low 60s making it feel pretty comfortable. Winds will remain light. Enjoy your Saturday, a threat of thunderstorms returns Sunday afternoon and plenty of heat next week with our next widepread shot of storms on Wednesday.”

#1 – WHY is it that she never says shit like this in sub-zero February? I know, I know, it’s cold out. But this is MINNESOTA. And as I’ve said before, if you don’t like it, MOVE! I never see this idiot weather lady posting “Happy ____day” when it’s 40 degrees in October, either. Or April, for that matter. Nope. She only does it when it’s over 75F degrees out.

#2 – Since when is RAIN THAT WE NEED DESPERATELY a threat? We got um..like two rain showers in April, and perhaps a couple since then. All told, that’s…. Hey! My lawn is crispy and brown. Wonder why?

#3 – That’s all. I just hate weather bitches who suffer from a dependency on fair weather to get by. This is beyond your typical, “seasonal affective disorder”. It’s more like fair-weather bias.

I dunno. All I know is I should probably shut up because although I am okay with Winter, I adore Spring and Fall, I despise most of the hot summer days, especially if humidity is up there.

On days like that, you can usually find me inside with the fan and/or central a/c running.

I guess I just prefer cooler temps. Maybe it’s cause I’m one hot mama!

One of my online friends was telling me about a weird dream she had… a lucid one…where you are half asleep and yet half aware of your surroundings, and it all sort of combines into a weird mind-movie. A few days ago I had one such dream…

I was up very (VERY!) late the other night, and […]

Was Paula Abdul under some sort of influence during a series of interviews broadcast last week? Or not? FoxLife says maybe…
But Ms. Abdul’s publicist, Jeff Ballard says otherwise, denying that she slurred her speech, and chalked it up to technical issues on the part of the TV network…saying that she was simply reacting […]

Sorry I think this story is hilarious… 1. Man hears school board wants to consider renaming Winter and Spring holiday breaks for school to “Christmas” and “Easter”, and heartily opposes. 2. Man wants to make the ultimate sacrifice to stand up for his beliefs 3. Man prepares to die in a burst of flames

4. The long arm of […]

It appears that Anheuser Busch have pulled the recent riotous TV ads for Bud Light after much whining and fussing folks representing the North & South American Indian and Aboriginal community, among other whiners. So…. if anyone is dying to see them, you still can, at: www.zagarandsteve.com and

Seems many things these days are gay. Gay Company Approval. Gay Governors. Gay Corporate Responsibility, Gay This. Gay That. Why is it, that–who you fuck or what kind of genitals/hormones/sex issues you have–makes any darn difference to anyone at ALL, except you, your partner, or any potential partners?

A couple of weeks ago, I accidentally subscribed to this silly online rag, called Diversity, Inc., just so I could read an article about a restaurant in India called “Hitler’s Kitchen”. Now, I get all kinds of crazy socialist crap in my inbox every day.

Of course, does anyone really care?? Doubtful! But for those that might… Here’s Katie “Pay me more than anyone here at CBS combined” Couric, giving ‘ol Bob the boot… in her first appearance on CBS before she took over the CBS Evening News anchor.

Who is this chick? I’m a fairly happy go lucky female, born in 1973, and I live in St. Paul, MN. I am self employed as a web designer, and it took me seven years to get my business off the ground and running to where I am now doing it full time from home.

Did Jesus really walk on water? Or was it ice? Scientists say if it was ice that formed on Northern Israel’s Lake Kinneret, the odds would have been 1-in-1,000. Read and decide for yourself.
