RESHARE with your Circles:

Circle me and I’ll donate $0.50 to the Red Cross’ Horn of Africa Relief

When is it okay to whore yourself out? When it’s for charity.

For the next 48hrs, I will donate $0.50 for every one of you who does. At the end of 48hrs I’ll check and see how many adds I received and take a screen cap of my receipt. Am I a super poor college senior? Yes. But I feel the need to spread awareness about this issue and do my part. If it takes whoring myself out (which I don’t normally do) to link as many people as I can to the Red Cross Donation link, then that’s what it takes!

I’m at 1,244 now. Cut off is 7pm Friday. Reshare to your circles!

There is no limit to how much I’ll donate, even I need to spread it out. If all goes well I may do this again in the future 🙂

Want to do more? Click the link below to donate as well! ….*GO!*

Not that fast.

Not that fast…but not bad for days when the ‘net goes down and the landlord’s not home, for me to tell him to re-cyle his router 🙂

LOL!

LOL!

Y’all ready for this?

According to something I read on the Innernetz, the apps listed below were safe to remove from Android (LG Optimus V). Now that my phone is successfully rooted, I’ve done so using Titanium Backup (awesome app, btw).

– airG Chat

– Poynt

– SCVNGR

– Twidroyd

– Virgin Mobile Live

– Where

I’m interested to know if there are any other system apps that come with Android 2.2 which can be removed safely…and if so, can you confirm, on any of these (or others not listed that you know to be bloatware/crapware?):

– Email (not Gmail, but rather the built in app)

– Sound Back

– Home Screen Tips 1.0

– Kick Back 1.0.1

– Android Live Wallpapers 2.2.1

– Live Wallpaper Picker 2.2.1

– Music 2.2.1

PS – I’m not super-worried about losing these if they’re part of the Android SDK… I have a complete ROM backed up from right after I rooted, and before I install the custom ROM that will give me access to updating to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

I popped into one Hangout today, to see what I could see.

I popped into one Hangout today, to see what I could see…if anything, concerning the new layout and features. The one I joined, however, did not show them.

Just figured out how to enable all the new features:

You must click on Try Hangouts with extras, as circled in the screen shot below, to get them to kick in.

Alright, y’all…

Alright, y’all…

I’m rooting I’VE ROOTED my Android 2.2 phone using GingerBreak so I can upgrade to 2.3 in order to not only enjoy the latest G+ mobile app updates, but so I can do other things I like on apps that require rooting (easier tethering, screen capturing from my phone, etc.).

Anyhew… I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it’s safe to move Clockwork Rom Manager to my SD card?

Thanks 🙂
